Smallest LTE GSM modem

In industry and electrical engineering, the   device size is often of non-existential   importance   -   The devices should be as small as possible to easily integrate them into   existing   applications can  . Wireless netcontrol GmbH has the   smallest LTE modem on its market   in its portfolio, with just 62 x 59 x 20 mm / 49 g in the black standard housing. Another benefit is the serial or RS232 interface, which still plays an important role in industrial applications or in the world of microcontrollers.

Originally developed as a pure GSM or GPRS modem, wireless netcontrol now also offers the future-proof LTE version, which enjoys great popularity on the market. These include a super fast data transfer with up to 100 Mbit / s downstream or up to 50 Mbit / s upstream.

For special industry standards, the modem is also available in the extra narrow DIN rail housing (the width is only 22 mm).

Furthermore, the modems have a large supply voltage range (9-35 V DC). The DIN rail model also receives its power supply via terminals (for example via wiring with a DIN rail power supply). For the antenna connection, Wireless Netcontrol has opted for the industry standard SMA. All connections are on the front, so it is never necessary to expose live parts. Furthermore, the antenna cable does not come into direct contact with live cables.

In addition to RS232 (serial), the industrial devices are also offered by wireless netcontrol with the data interfaces Ethernet / LAN and USB, ie compatible with currently used technology.

Conclusion

Together with GSM modems and fault annunciators, which have been successfully on the market for many years, as well as their own LTE / UMTS routers for industrial applications and a wide range of accessories, Wireless Netcontrol GmbH covers the widest range of applications and requirements with its extended application range from 2G to 4G (LTE) optimally prepared for its customers and is well prepared for Industry 4.0.
